Editing a PDF is possible by converting the PDF to Word, making changes directly in Word, and finally convert it to PDF again.

If you already can't open the file on your computer and the PDF converter also tells you that the file is broken, there is no way to repair it.

Please note that a perfect conversion is not always possible. Depending on the complexitiy of the content, the layout might change. If you are using the OCR feature, please note that a correct character recognition depends on the image quality, the used fonts and the text orientation.
