Before creating the PDF file, you have to create either an XPS file on your computer (this only works if the content of the program is printable) or you create a screenshot of the content as a JPG file.
This is fast and possible without an additional installation.
Option A - Content of the EXE file is printable:
- Open your EXE file as usual and open the content which you want to save as a PDF file.
Select
File -> Print in your file directly or press
(Don't worry, nothing will be printed on paper!)- Choose the following printer: "Microsoft XPS Document Writer".
- Click "OK" or "Print".
- Choose a storage location for the XPS file and click "Save".
Option B - Create a screenshot as a JPG file:
- Open your EXE file as usual and open the content which you want to save as a PDF file.
Take a screenshot, e.g. with the preinstalled "Snipping Tool":
press
Windows-Key
, enter
"Snipping Tool" and press
Enter
or
- Choose the screen section which you want to save.
- Save the screenshot as a JPG file.
